After graduating from a university in the United States, Emiko launched her career at J.P. Morgan, gaining valuable experience in foreign exchange operations. She then transitioned to Nomura's Investment Banking Division, where she advised on various corporate finance deals, including M&A, POs, and IPOs. During her tenure at Nomura, Emiko also took on roles in the Human Resources Department, where she spearheaded talent acquisition strategies.

With 15 years of experience in the investment banking industry, Emiko decided to relocate to Singapore after leaving Nomura. Joining a prominent medical marketing consulting firm, she played a key role in the corporate planning department, overseeing operations across 17 international branches and collaborating closely with management and country managers on M&A transactions and business reforms.

In her late 30s, Emiko shifted her focus towards organizational and talent strategy. While working in Singapore, she pursued a graduate degree, earning an Executive Master in Change from INSEAD. Today, Emiko serves as an independent executive coach and organizational HR consultant, leveraging her extensive experience and expertise. Additionally, she is a PhD candidate at NIODA, furthering her research and contributions to the field.
